Hartsville, S.C. – Coker College Softball Player, Kimberly Atkinson, can add yet another award to her growing list as she was named Second Team All-Region for the South Atlantic Region by the NFCA/Louisville Slugger on Thursday.

Mooresville, N.C. – In the third and final round of the 2008 Southeast/Atlantic Super Regional Golf Tournament, the Coker College golf team fell back yet again to finish in fifth place in the Atlantic Region. The Cobras finished the third round with a score of 310 (+22), while firing a three round combined total of 918 (+54).

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Carson-Newman College’s Zoe Heim was named Daktronics All-South Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year and Lincoln Memorial University’s Sara Henn took player of the year honors, as the all-region teams were released today (May 7). The teams were nominated and voted upon by the region’s sports information directors.
